What is a Workplace Campaign?
Workplace Campaigns are an integral part of our annual Community-Wide Campaigns. Sponsored and supported by area businesses, the campaigns encourage employees to give back to their community through personal contributions and fundraising events.
What are the benefits of running a United Way Campaign?
Workplace Campaigns are not only beneficial to our community; they can also have far-reaching positive effects on your company.
Benefits include:
Enhanced Employee Relations: Employees that participate in Workplace Campaigns learn team-building skills and experience boosts in morale as they work together for a greater cause. The campaign also helps build relationships between employees of all levels.
Improved Customer Relations and Loyalty: Customers like to support companies that in turn support the local community. United Way Campaigns provide funding for a wide-range of programs, allowing companies’ donations to have a greater impact on the community.
Better Corporate Image: Participating in Workplace Campaigns gives the community a view of the personal side of your company. Additionally, the campaigns are a way to improve relationships with company stakeholders, as they show that your company is concerned about the local community
Agency Education: Many of your employees may not know about the available programs that they can benefit from in times of need. Participating in Workplace Campaigns will help educate your employees on important programs available to them.
Financial Benefits: Companies and employees can receive tax deductions/credits for charitable giving. Contact your professional, financial or legal advisor for tax information.
